IWA & Outdoor Classics has been Europe's leading exhibition for the hunting and sporting guns, outdoor and accessories sector for more than 35 years. In 2009 approximately 1,130 exhibitors offered their products and services to around 32,000 trade visitors from more than 100 nations. The international proportion of visitors was about 60 % - making IWA a truly international event for the industry.

Twenty-four companies booked to exhibit on the British Pavilion, which presently covers over 420 sq metres. The products on display included air rifles and accessories, ammunition, archery, clay traps and clays, country clothing, giftware, gun cleaning equipment, knitwear, optics, rifles, socks, survival equipment and swords.
